A story of snow and sacrifice

Based on the enduring Afrikaans legend, Racheltjie de Beer is a stark historical drama of a young girl's sacrifice in the frozen veld. The design language was built on austerity — cold light, weathered materials and vast, unforgiving landscapes.

Chantel crafted a palette of muted greys, snow-bleached timber and hand-worn textiles, letting scale and emptiness carry the emotional weight of the story.
